  • Border Out Post along the Inter-State Border under State Own Priority Development (SOPD)

    Our topmost priority being the protection and development of the border areas of Assam, the repair/renovation of BOPs, roads for patrolling by security forces, establishment of new BOPs are necessary for the security and safety of our border villages and for conservation of our reserved forests along the Inter-state boundaries with neighbouring states.

    • Total nos. of BOPs : 81 Nos.
    • Assam-Nagaland : 55 Nos.
    • Assam-Arunachal Pradesh : 13 Nos.
    • Assam-Meghalaya : 6 Nos.
    • Assam-Mizoram : 7 Nos. 
    • New BOPs to be established : 34 Nos.
